We are so excited to see you all this Saturday, April 1st, at our 10th Annual HIKE FOR HOPE, Finding our Way!! We are inching closer to our goal of $150,000 because of your amazing support! I have no doubt that we will achieve it with this community. ๐ If you can do a final invite or push on social media, that would be great!!
We are so excited about this year's hike and know it will be a morning to remember. It looks like the โ will be shining (finally) and It will be a beautiful day for a hike, with temps ranging from 60 to 70 throughout the morning.
Here are some details that you will need to know for the event:
For those who would like to come by and pick up your t-shirt and Hike for HOPE sticker (the stickers are new this year and are perfect for water bottles and laptops as a memory of the event), we are offering early pick-up. If you get your t-shirts/stickers early, you can bypass any lines at the hike and start enjoying the festivities when you get to the hike. We encourage you to pick up your items in advance. You will be able to grab your t-shirt/sticker the morning of the hike at the registration table if you are unable to make it on one of these evenings.

The Hike will begin at Copper Hills Church 27035 N. Black Rock Blvd. Peoria, AZ 85383. The hike is for all ages and abilities! You can even hang back and enjoy the music and activities while your team gets their 'hike' on.
๐ There will be many parking options this year. Off-duty police officers will be on-site to assist with traffic control and offsite parking at the HOA lot and West Wing School are available (a shuttle van and golf carts will be available to help transport you to Copper Hills). A map is attached. Please carpool if possible.
๐The hike will be a "hike at your own pace" style. Pick up t-shirts/stickers (if you did not pick them up during the week), hike on a marked trail (two options, one being flat and the other an hour-long hike), grab some grub, dance a little, enjoy our activities, hang with your friends, and remember our loved ones.
๐Day of t-shirt/sticker pick up and registrations for new hikers take place from 8 - 10 am on Saturday, in which you join us at Copper Hills Church and hike Sunrise Mountain on your own with your group. (please note if you pick up your items before Saturday, there is no need to check in at the hike).
๐งกThis year's theme, Finding our Way, features fun winding adventures that represent the twists and turns of our journeys. Activities include a special passport keepsake that guides you through the activities. The activities include Memory Beads, Scout Compass Workshop, Baileys Ranch and Almost There Rescue puppy snuggles, License Plate Design, Inflatable Obstacle Course, and "Let it go" Labyrinth. Music and Photo Booth, Food (Yummy breakfast burritos from Evies Catering, Harkins Popcorn Truck, and Kona Ice will be on hand for purchase), raffles, silent auctions, and free snacks. The only items you will need to purchase will be the food vendors and raffle/silent auction tickets. Everything else is included in your registration.
๐We ask that you complete your hike by 10:45 am so you can join us for a presentation. The presentation will include speeches from our Billy's Place families, a moment of silence in memory of our special people, and a super fun raffle and silent auction.
๐งกThe event will end at 11:30.
Raffle tickets will be $5 each, $20 for 5, or an arms wingspan for $100 (cash or credit accepted). We have 45 raffle baskets and 25 silent auction items. This year is the best yet with so many amazing options.
We will have tables and chairs set up for seating, however, we recommend you bring your own chair to use on the lawn to guarantee a place to sit.
